The best thing about the album is that; it's s typically Miguel. Yes there is the dose of sweet R&B songs that will make you want to slow dance with the nearest human being ('Adorn' springs to mind), but Miguel also added his self described "eclec-tric" flavour on the majority of his tracks with a lot of electric guitar heavy tracks. Now don't worry, if you know Miguel, it's not urbany electronic music on the scale of artists such as Labrinth (although I love him too), but sweet and subtle.
You'll
be glad to hear that every track is different. As a good album should be. It's
not an album full of slow jams but a mixture. The only consistent thing is the
brilliant vocals that Miguel never fails to deliver. With a voice that can
tickle your heart, he hasn't let us down.
If I had to some it
up in one word, I couldn't. It's gentle; "let my love adorn you"..
Yet fiercely seductive; "I'm going to do you like drugs
tonight".
